Our core values.

Thrills & Spills of Wheelchair Rugby

Wheelchair rugby is a mixed team sport from male and female tetraplegic athletes. A unique sport created by athletes with a disability, it combines elements of rugby ,basketball and handball. It is an invasion and evasion game, the object being to carry the ball across the opposing team’s goal line to score points. Contact between wheelchairs is permitted, and is in fact an integral part of the sport as players use their chairs to block and hold opponents. Ofcourse , its not quite as simple as that.

Athlete’s are classified from 0.5 uptown 3.5 with low pointers generally being defensive and high pointers being offensive.
